近年、「きぃすとんのロープアクセス技術を学びたい」「働きたい」というお問い合わせを海外からいただく機会が増えています。実際に、きぃすとんで活躍している外国人スタッフもいます。
しかし、きぃすとんで働くためには、いくつかのハードルがありますのでご説明します。

In recent years, we have been receiving more inquiries from overseas people who want to learn Keystone’s rope access techniques or work with us. In fact, there are already foreign staff members actively working at Keystone.
However, there are several challenges for those who wish to work at Keystone, so we would like to explain them.

ハードルその1【ロープ技術】
きぃすとんのロープ技術、いわゆる「SORAT技術」は、IRATA等の一般的なロープ技術とは別物です。
上下左右前後へと、3次元的に自由自在に移動する技術であり、とくにIRATA等の経験者には、頭の切り替えが必要となるため、苦戦される方も少なくありません。
なぜ3次元技術を使うのか。
それは、きぃすとんが独壇場とするインフラ点検業務に不可欠な技術だからです。

Challenge 1 【Rope Access Techniques】
Keystone’s rope techniques, known as “SORAT techniques,” are completely different from general rope access techniques such as IRATA.
SORAT is a technique that allows free three-dimensional movement — up, down, left, right, forward, and backward.
Especially for experienced IRATA technicians, changing their way of thinking is essential, and many people struggle with this difference.
Why do we use three-dimensional techniques?
Because three-dimensional techniques are indispensable for the infrastructure inspection work in which Keystone holds a dominant position.

ハードルその2【インフラ点検技術】
きぃすとんのスタッフは皆、インフラ調査・点検・検査の技術者です。
IRATA等の有資格者の皆さんが普段従事されている建設現場等でのロープ作業とは、少なからず異なる部分があります。

Challenge 2 【Infrastructure Inspection Skills】
All Keystone staff members are technicians specializing in infrastructure investigation, inspection, and examination.
The work differs in many ways from the rope access work that IRATA-certified technicians are usually engaged in at construction sites and similar environments.

ハードルその3【日本語能力と国籍】
業務上、一定レベルの日本語能力が必要です。
また、日本で働くためには在留資格などの就労条件も関係するため、採用には一定の条件があります。
現在きぃすとんで活躍している外国人スタッフは、日本国籍の配偶者を持つ方々です。

Challenge 3 【Japanese Language Ability and Nationality】
A certain level of Japanese language ability is required for our work.
In addition, employment conditions such as residency status and work authorization in Japan are also involved, so there are certain requirements for employment.
The foreign staff members currently active at Keystone all have spouses with Japanese nationality.
