Other Surveys and Support Work

Keystone Co., Ltd. offers advanced rope access solutions that enable safe and efficient inspection and repair in high or confined locations—without scaffolding.

All work is performed by full-time certified rope access technicians. We conduct regular rescue training and maintain strict safety standards. With over 30 years of zero-accident performance, our team operates nationwide and can handle emergency deployments quickly and flexibly, offering manpower-intensive solutions when needed.

Various survey and support operations

Seismic Wave Survey Support and Geophysical Survey Support

Seismic wave surveys and geophysical surveys are non-destructive techniques for investigating the condition of geological formations and internal structures. By applying vibrations or waves to the ground or structures and analyzing how these waves reflect and propagate, we can understand internal structures and anomalies (such as cracks, cavities, and deterioration).

Keystone Corporation boasts extensive experience and advanced technical capabilities in supporting seismic wave surveys and geophysical surveys. By utilizing our rope access technique, we can safely and rapidly perform operations even in high locations, steep terrain, and confined spaces where conventional scaffolding installation would be difficult.

Limestone Cave Surveys

Limestone cave surveys are investigations conducted to understand the condition of limestone caves (naturally formed underground spaces). By understanding cave structures, safety conditions, natural environmental changes, and signs of collapse, these surveys contribute to conservation and safety measures, academic research, and tourism development.

We have conducted diverse cave surveys both domestically and internationally over many years. Through the knowledge and techniques gained from this experience, we can flexibly respond to complex terrain and environments.

We utilize our proprietary three-dimensional rope access technique “SORAT” to safely and rapidly access high locations and confined spaces that are difficult to reach with conventional methods. This enables us to expand survey scope and achieve greater efficiency.

Cave Conduit and Hand-excavated Tunnel Surveys

Keystone Corporation boasts extensive experience and a proven track record in surveying conduits and hand-excavated tunnels. For these surveys, we utilize rope access techniques to safely access high and confined spaces that are difficult to reach with conventional methods, enabling efficient inspection and surveying operations.

Main Survey Services
・Close Visual and Contact Inspection
Inspection technicians move freely within tunnels to conduct detailed examinations of cracks, deformations, water leakage, and other conditions. Hammer testing is also performed as needed.

・3D Surveying and Mapping
Using the latest technology, we conduct comprehensive 3D surveys of entire tunnels and create three-dimensional drawings and cross-sectional diagrams. This enables us to provide highly accurate survey data.

・Precision Photography with AnaPro360 System
Wall surfaces are photographed and recorded as development drawings, creating reports that provide visual understanding of both the overall picture and fine details.

Abandoned Mine and Vertical Shaft Surveys

Keystone Corporation has accumulated extensive experience and specialized expertise in abandoned mine and vertical shaft surveys over many years. For internal surveys of high-risk abandoned mines and vertical shafts, we implement thorough safety management protocols and utilize rope access techniques to conduct reliable and efficient inspections and surveys.

Main Survey Services
・Close Visual and Contact Inspection
Inspection technicians move through mine workings to identify cracks, deterioration, signs of collapse, and other conditions. Hammer testing is performed as needed.

・3D Surveying and Mapping
Using the latest surveying technology, we acquire detailed three-dimensional structural data of mine interiors as digital information. We create drawings and cross-sectional diagrams to clearly identify structural conditions and hazardous areas.

・Precision Photography with AnaPro360 System Mine walls are comprehensively photographed as development drawings to create reports that provide understanding of both the overall picture and fine details.

Tree Climbing and Specialized Tree Removal

Keystone Corporation possesses extensive experience and advanced specialized techniques in tree climbing and specialized tree removal utilizing rope access technology. We safely and efficiently perform tree felling and branch pruning operations in high and difficult-to-access locations that are challenging with conventional methods, while providing cost-effective services.

Situations Requiring Tree Climbing and Specialized Tree Removal
・Hazardous Removal of Fallen and Dead Trees
We safely fell and remove fallen trees and dead trees that pose potential risks to nearby residents and facilities.

・Branch Trimming and Pruning at Height
When branches at height interfere with power lines or buildings, we carefully process branches using specialized techniques.

・Tree Removal on Steep Slopes and Confined Spaces
Even on steep inclines and narrow locations where equipment cannot be transported, we efficiently perform work utilizing rope techniques.

Raptor Survey Support

Keystone Corporation is a professional team with extensive experience and specialized expertise in raptor survey support. We utilize tree climbing techniques and rope access techniques on rock faces to safely and rapidly access nesting sites and monitoring environments. We maintain thorough survey accuracy and safety management, contributing to environmental conservation and ecosystem research.

Situations Requiring Raptor Survey Support
・Nesting Site Investigation and Monitoring We conduct close visual confirmation of raptor nests located at height in mountainous areas and forests, obtaining detailed understanding of nest conditions and breeding status.

・Monitoring Camera Installation For continued survey work, we install cameras at nesting sites and surrounding nest areas to observe and record wildlife behavior over extended periods.

・Inspection Support in Protected Areas and Designated Zones We support raptor protection activities within nature reserves, providing safe and efficient access necessary for field surveys.

Rare Species Survey, Survey Support, and Transplantation

Keystone Corporation is a specialized team with extensive experience and advanced techniques in rare species surveys, survey support, and transplantation operations. We excel at tree climbing and rock face work, utilizing rope access technique to safely, rapidly, and reliably access locations that are difficult to reach with conventional methods, conducting meticulous and accurate surveys.

Situations Requiring Rare Species Survey and Support
・Rare Species Habitat Survey
We conduct ecological surveys at height and on rock faces in mountainous areas and forests where rare species inhabit, understanding the condition of habitats and distribution patterns.

・Monitoring and Sampling
In long-term survey projects, we continuously observe changes in rare species and their environments, carefully collecting necessary samples.

・Rare Species Transplantation Operations
As part of nature conservation and environmental restoration projects, we safely and carefully proceed with transplanting rare species to alternative habitats.
