Q: What is the origin of the name “Keystone”?
A: It is derived from the Japanese word “Kaname-ishi” (keystone), which is said to hold back earthquakes. It reflects our desire to be a reliable presence.
Q: Isn’t this a dangerous job? Is insurance in place?
A: Yes, we have full insurance coverage just like any other profession. Additionally, we have maintained a zero-accident record for 33 years since our founding.
Q: Do you have your own rope technology?
A: Yes. Based on caving techniques, we have developed original methods tailored to the needs of Japanese industries.
Q: Do you have rival companies?
A: Not directly. While some companies have partially adopted our techniques, we are often referred to as “in a league of our own.”
Q: Are your staff rock climbers?
A: No, most of them come from ordinary backgrounds. All our members are certified and experienced as professional technicians.
