[Privacy Policy of Kiiston Inc.]

Kiiston Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) establishes and publishes the following Privacy Policy regarding the handling of users’ personal information in the services provided on this website (hereinafter referred to as the “Services”) and shall comply with it.

Article 1 (Compliance with Relevant Laws and Regulations)

The Company shall handle personal information appropriately in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, other applicable laws and regulations, guidelines, and this Privacy Policy.

The Company shall publish or notify the purpose of use when acquiring personal information (including publication through this Privacy Policy). If acquiring personal information directly from a written document (including electronic records) provided by the individual, the Company shall clearly state the purpose of use in advance and acquire the information by appropriate means, unless otherwise stipulated by law.

The Company shall not provide personal data to third parties without prior consent of the individual, except where permitted by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other applicable laws and regulations.

Article 6 (Disclosure of Personal Information)

When requested by the data subject, the Company shall disclose the relevant personal information without delay. However, all or part of the information may not be disclosed in the following cases, and the Company will promptly notify the requester of the reason:

  • If disclosure may endanger the life, body, property, or other rights or interests of the individual or a third party

  • If disclosure may significantly interfere with the proper execution of the Company’s business

  • If disclosure may violate other laws or regulations

A fee of 1,000 yen per request will be charged for such disclosure. History and characteristic information not classified as personal information will not be disclosed.

Article 7 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)

If a user believes that their retained personal information is incorrect, they may request correction, addition, or deletion (hereinafter “Correction, etc.”) through the procedures established by the Company.

Upon determining that such request is necessary, the Company shall promptly make the correction, etc., and notify the user of the result.

Article 8 (Suspension of Use of Personal Information)

If a user requests the suspension or deletion of use (“Suspension, etc.”) of their personal information on the grounds that it has been used beyond the intended purpose or was obtained by fraudulent means, the Company shall promptly conduct the necessary investigation.

If deemed necessary based on the result, the Company shall carry out the Suspension, etc., without delay and notify the user accordingly.

Article 9 (Use of Google Analytics)

This website uses Google Analytics to understand user behavior and improve the site. Google may collect, record, and analyze access logs, but this does not include personally identifiable information.

Personal information submitted through inquiry forms may be linked to Google Analytics data, but will not be provided or sold to third parties without permission.
